How to spot the victim of child abuse and bullying, According to Experts

As adults, we are responsible for the children in our midst.

But…we can’t always be there to protect them from hurt or pain. In the case of child abuse and bullying, the signs may not always be obvious and victims may hide these incidents from others due to guilt and shame.

I sat down with @morninglazziness and reviewed the signs of child abuse and bullying and would invite you to take a look at what I’ve outlined here as we all aim to protect the vulnerable and defenseless children around us.

Signs of child abuse

1. Sudden change in behavior:

“Sometimes children may hide these things because of guilt, shame, or fear. It’s very important to have a real connection and know the child well because the signs of abuse and bullying can be very subtle and hard to detect. If you know the child well, you can easily detect any change in their behavior or demeanor. Sometimes it would present as children who are generally quiet being more aggressive and assertive suddenly or sometimes an outgoing child may suddenly become withdrawn,” Cathy Domoney, a world-renowned Parenting Expert, Author, Mentor, and CEO of Parenting Evolution said...
